Privacy policy & cookies
What imperialco.biz collects, how we use workflow automation (including n8n), and your choices.
Who we are
This website is operated by Imperial Co. (“we”, “us”) to describe our pharmaceutical sourcing services and to let you request quotes. Our registered address is shown in the site footer (IFZA Business Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates). For privacy questions about this site, see Contact below.
Cookie preferences: Open cookie settings to allow or withdraw optional marketing measurement (LinkedIn Insight and Google Tag Manager) at any time.
How this site is built
The public pages are largely static HTML delivered over HTTPS through Cloudflare (content delivery, security, and protection against abuse). Typography is loaded from CDNFonts (third-party font files). We do not run a login or customer account system on this marketing site.
Information we may process
Depending on what you do on the site, we may process:
- Quote and contact details you type into forms (for example name, company, email, phone, product lines, and free-text notes).
- Technical data that browsers and infrastructure typically create automatically when you load pages or call APIs (for example IP address, approximate region, user agent, timestamps, and error logs). This is used to operate and secure the service.
- Cookie choice stored in your browser (see Cookies and similar technologies).
- Local drafts and cart helpers stored only in your browser on some pages so you do not lose work (see Browser storage).
Workflow automation and n8n
We use n8n Cloud, a workflow automation platform operated by n8n GmbH, as a processor on our instructions. In plain terms: when this website needs to load product data or send a quote request to our team, your browser talks to secure webhook endpoints that trigger workflows we configure in n8n.
Product catalog
Product search and catalog pages request non-personal product data (for example product names and attributes) from an n8n webhook. That request is sent over HTTPS. Like any web request, n8n and underlying infrastructure may receive standard technical metadata needed to deliver the response.
Quote requests (standard and custom RFQ)
When you submit a quote form, the information you entered is sent as JSON over HTTPS to n8n webhook URLs. Our workflows may then route that data—for example to email inboxes, internal databases, spreadsheets, or CRM tools we use—to process your enquiry. The exact steps can change as we improve operations; the purpose stays handling commercial enquiries you initiate.
Why we describe n8n explicitly
Naming the platform helps you understand where your form submission travels before it reaches us. n8n’s own privacy statement applies to how they run their cloud service: n8n privacy policy. We choose subprocessors and contract terms appropriate to our use case; if you need vendor paperwork (for example a DPA package), contact us.
Browser storage (not cookies)
Some pages use browser localStorage to hold in-progress quote lines or drafts so your session is easier to use. That data stays on your device until you clear site data or we overwrite it. It is not sent to n8n until you submit a form (cart contents are included in the submission payload you approve by sending).
Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small amount of browser storage to remember your cookie consent choice. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies or similar identifiers when you visit our site—for example to manage security challenges, bot mitigation, and reliable delivery. Those are classified as essential in our cookie preferences and are not turned off by “Reject non-essential”. Cloudflare describes these technologies in Cloudflare’s cookie documentation and Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Optional LinkedIn Insight and Google Tag Manager (which may load tags you would configure there, such as Google Analytics or advertising pixels) load only if you accept marketing measurement in our cookie dialog or turn it on under Manage → Save preferences. LinkedIn’s use of cookies and similar technologies is described in LinkedIn’s privacy policy. How Google uses data from sites that use its services is described in Google’s partner sites policy and related notices. If you reject non-essential options, we do not load LinkedIn Insight or Google Tag Manager on our pages.

International processing
We are based in the United Arab Emirates. Subprocessors such as Cloudflare, n8n Cloud, LinkedIn, and Google may process data in the European Union, United Kingdom, United States, or other regions where they operate. We rely on appropriate safeguards or contractual mechanisms as required for cross-border transfers, consistent with the laws that apply to you.
Retention
We keep enquiry and contact information only as long as needed to respond, manage the business relationship, and meet legal or professional obligations (for example record-keeping). Retention in n8n execution logs or connected systems follows our internal schedules and vendor settings. Ask us if you need specifics for a particular request.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise rights related to information you gave us through this site, contact us using the details below. We will verify requests where the law requires it.
Changes
We may update this policy when our website, vendors, or legal requirements change. The “last updated” note at the bottom reflects the latest revision.
